Established in February 2003, China Printing（Group）Corporation (CPGC) is a large state-owned enterprise approved by the State Council and reports directly to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It is formed on the basis of several enterprises such as China Printing Corporation, China National Printing Materials Corporation and China Academy of Printing Technology. The group consists of 12 wholly owned enterprises and 8 companies in which it is the controlling shareholder or has equity participation.

CPGC is a fully integrated company with printing production, research & development and distribution functions. The goal of CPGC is to become the flagship printing enterprise in the Chinese printing industry CPGC strives to combine science, manufacturing and both intra- and inter-national trading while maintaining a cross-media, cross-region and cross-industry presence.
